A great day at NICC, Calmer IA learning about careers in Animal Science at their Animal Science Career Showcase. A special thanks to Dave Lawstuen, an Ag instructor and dept. chair, for organizing and inviting us to this event. Students learned about Lely milking robots and barn cleaning and feeding robots, they did a health analysis on cows and learned about calf nutrition, collect eggs from an ovary and learn about the process of egg collection and embyo transplant. The day concluded with a talk from a financial officer. As you can see from a few pictures it was a great day at NICC.
