The boys basketball team is the 2 seed in the upcoming section tournament. We will host a home game on Thursday, Feb. 26 at 7:00pm against the winner of Rochester MSA/Kingsland who will play on Tuesday. Good luck boys!
Congratulations to the girls basketball team on their first round victory over ACGE Thursday night! They now advance to the Mayo Civic Center Auditorium to play Hayfield on Tuesday night, Feb. 24th, at 6:00 pm. Tickets go on sale on Saturday at the link below and are $12.50 for adults and $6.50 for students.

At the boys game Friday night Mabel-Canton is celebrating Hometown Heroes!

Join us tonight at 7:00pm as the girls basketball team hosts ACGE in the opening round of the section tournament! Just a reminder that no local passes are accepted and there is no senior discount. Books for Breakfast- Friday February 27th

Today we celebrated “I Love To Read Month” with our first Bingo for Books.
The elementary students had a blast playing bingo and picking out a book to take home afterwards. Lucky bingo winners received a free book from the book fair. The books each kid took home were kindly provided by local families. Thank you for all the donations and your support. A big shout out to Mrs. Mohs and Mrs. Twait for putting this amazing event together. The kids had so much fun playing bingo and picking out their new books.







The SEMN Exhibition will be opening at the Rochester Art Center at 12pm on Feb. 22. Lanesboro has 8 student works in the show. Other free events start at 11am.

Last week five FFA members attended Region Winter Leadership Day. Jensyn interviewed for her Minnesota State Degree and will receive that in April at the State Convention!
McKenna, Jackson, Kylie and Eliza placed 5th of 26 teams in the BIG (Best Informed Greenhand) cde and will compete at state!
