What a wonderful One Act season we have had! We did not get the finish we wanted, but I still could not be more pround of these kids. Technically, we tied in points for 4th place today. Thanks to all of our supporters!

On Friday night in Plainview Jensyn Storhoff scored her 2,000th career point! Jensyn is the all time leading scorer in Lanesboro history across boys and girls basketball. Congratulations!

Congratulations to our 9th grade Knowledge Bowl Team! They placed FIRST place at the regional meet in Rochester!

Congratulations to our One Act Troupe! 2nd place and moving on the Kasson-Mantorville next Saturday!

The Lanesboro Schools Finance, Facilities, and Long-Range Planning Committee will meet January 28, 2026 at 6:30pm in the Main Office. The primary purpose of the meeting is to review the long-range plan.

The times for tonight's JV and varsity girls games vs ACGE have been moved up. the JV will start at 4:30 with varsity to follow. UPDATE: Parents night will NOT take place tonight it has been moved to Monday, January 26.

Regional FFA CDEs were held today in Plainview with the following results: Companion Animal -2 of 23 teams **State Qualified! Jensyn - 4, Sari - 12, Ambrin 13, Olivia -30, Elizabeth -32 of 87 Fish & Wildlife - 6 of 20 teams **State Qualified! Collin - 11, Logan - 29, Carson -32, Jeron and Jackson of 85 Floriculture - 5 of 17 **State Qualified! McKenna - 12, Lauren - 15, Gracy 27, Prailey and Milly Also 1 of 17 in floral arrangement designing portion of the cde. Nursery Landscape - 5 of 10 Missed state by one place! Eliza - 13, Lynkon - 18, Kylie - 21 and Bella -22 Kids are commended for trying something new or continuing to challenge themselves! The kids also traveled to Rushford-Peterson last week for an invitational. Additionally attending was Sam in Milk Quality and Maddox in Fish & Wildlife. The traditional "Big Cow" photo was a must!

Congratulations to Jensyn Storhoff and Jaxon Huntington who were chosen as this year's AAA Award winners for Lanesboro school! Each of them was also selected as the winner in our sub-region as well so they are both eligible for the section award. Great job to two very deserving seniors!

One Act Play competition and performances start this weekend!

A reminder that there is NO SCHOOL on January 19th.

Updates for tomorrow night's (Friday, Jan. 9) boys basketball games vs. Schaeffer: there will no longer be a JV game. Varsity will now start at 6:00pm. We will play the 8th grade game in the main gym at school at 4:30.

Semester Tests for 7-12th Grades are January 15th and 16th. The end of the Second Quarter is January 16th.
