This Public Schools Week, we’re thankful for the Lanesboro Public School community!

The boys received the 15 seed and will host 18 seed Hayfield this Monday, Feb. 26 at 7:00 pm for the play-in round of the section tournament.
Please note that no local or senior citizens passes are accepted for entry into this game. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students. The game will not be livestreamed.

Congratulations to our Visual Arts Classic Team! We took 2nd in Art History Knowledge Bowl, 2nd in Critical Thinking, and 2nd Overall! 11 of out 12 members qualified individually in Long Term Art and/or On Site work! Amazing!

Our Wolves wrestlers are in action tonight and tomorrow in Rochester at the Mayo Civic Center for individual section matches. Good luck to all!

The girls received the 11 seed and will travel to 6 seed Grand Meadow for the opening round of the section tournament on Thursday, Feb. 22 at 7 pm.

At tonight's basketball game we recognized this year's LHS AAA award winners Lynsey Ruen and Mason Howard. Congratulations to you both!

Prom will be Saturday May 4th. Grand March will be held at the school in the big gym. Cost of prom per person is $35 dollars. All attendees must fill out a food allergy form. The QR code is attached for the food form. Dinner and Prom will be at Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center. Tickets for Prom will go on sale on Friday, February 23rd.

A reminder that there is NO SCHOOL on Monday, February 19, 2024.

Ten members interviewed and qualified for their state degrees that they will receive in April at the state convention! Congrats Sophia, Lynsey, Claire, Indy, Leleina, Julia, Caden, Michael, Isaac & Luke!
7 members participated in the Best Informed Greenhand competition and placed 5th of 21 teams! Members are Emma, Rachel, Maddy, Grace, Thea, Jewels and Jentrey!


Tonight's wrestling meet and youth wrestling event have been canceled.
Winter section tournaments kick off this Friday/Saturday as our girls wrestlers travel to Redwood Falls for the state qualifier matches. Good luck to our Wolves wrestlers!

Congratulations to the One Act performers today! What a great competition! Lanesboro placed 3rd!
Snowball will be held at the school on February 3rd.

Thank you to all 40 students that participated in the District Spelling Bee on January 23rd. Congratulations to our 1st and 2nd place finishers that will go on to represent Lanesboro at the Regional Spelling Bee in Rochester in February. Good luck!
