Previous Lanesboro school record was 52.22 (1994) Program and Fillmore Central school record is currently 51.81 (1993) 👀 Fun note - We aren’t exactly sure who was on that team 31 years ago but we are thinking one was Lillyan’s mom, Kristi and another is Sarah Peterson, mom of team member Isabelle!
The chicks in first grade hatched 🐣 You can tell by their faces how excited they were to hold the little babies.
The rainbow fish is complete!! So much fun hearing so many students/ staff look for their fish! :) Our preschoolers were excited to see it all put together!!
Congratulations to Briella Rodger on her Honorable Mention in the Youth Art Month competition put on by Art Education Minnesota. Great job to the other individuals who also submitted artwork: Scarlett Banitt, William Miller, Ayla Madland, and Havilah Pfeffer.

Today our students and staff participated in the Minnesota statewide Severe Weather Drill. Everyone did a great job and we just want to remind everyone that there is a second drill this evening for families to practice as well.
The Lanesboro Public School’s Finance, Facilities, and Long-Range Planning Committee will meet April 15, 2025 at 8:00am in the Superintendent’s Office. The purpose of the meeting is to review information regarding the District's long-range plan.

At Sub Section Speech last night, Ambrin Olson took 4th place in Discussion, and Aster Auman took 4th in Prose. Both will be moving on the the Section meet in Byron this Saturday. Ayla Madland did her best in Poetry and just missed qualifying with a 10th place finish.

State Visual Arts Competition went pretty well for our team. We had total of 5 1st place finishes, 6 2nd place finishes, and 5 3rd place finishes in our Long Term and On Site works. The team tried really hard during the team Art History Quiz Bowl, but did not place. Great job artists!
