Lanesboro Schools has contracted for the past few years with Student Assurance Services to administer an accident insurance plan for our students. It is a basic supplement to your health insurance if your plan has a large deductable, copay, or coinsurance, including HSA plans.
Lanesboro contracts for the group insurance policy that will provide benefits for accidental bodily injury incurred while the student is: attending regular school sessions; participating in or attending school-sponsored extra-curricular activities; practicing or competing in school-sponsored and supervised interscholastic sports; and traveling directly to and from school for regular school session; and while traveling to and from school sponsored and supervised extra-curricular and interscholastic sports in school-provided transportation.
While this isn't a full-coverage insurance plan for your student, it can help offset some of the costs that you may incur in the event of an accident. You can contact the office for more information.
